Actually, I have taking many course other than this Maya Course. Since my job is design, I think this course could help me in designing things. I put my whole heart in it to study and bought some books to read...and recorder to record the professor's speech.

I agree with that in City there are good teachers and TAs...but sorry, the one teaching mine I dont think he is really good at all......I am not challenging his skills in 3D....i am chanlleging his attitude to students are not fair to all. I respect him much every time I ask him question with polite manner, however what i get is few words explaination.... and even though i move back to let him work on my computer.....he will stop 1 miter away from desk and asking me to hit the key on keybroad without really explain why hit that key(if i dont ask him)!

Actually my techniques is better than many people next to me. However, I get really upset coz i can feel the professor really doesn't like me much..... I dont know why... but for this case I can see he is picking student to teach...it's not about you are boy or girl......but it's about he likes u or not. I dont know why he dislike me much maybe i ask him too much things when the course just begin. Well anyway, I am not expecting to have Hollywood standard here.....so dont bullshit i haven't say I want to acheive this! I am just wanna get what i pay to get! This is what the course objective is. Actually, the thing i learn in 3d now is mostly i read from books by myself.

I post this message here is not becoz i wanna against a person, but I just want to tell other people who like taking maya, they should find a good place. A good place doesn't means a university must have good teaching enviroment. It's really depends on which professor is teaching you. Also, wanna let City U knows that they should pay more attention to TA and Professor. So the students feel more satisfy after taking this course.

我建議返大陸學仲便宜啦！普通的學MAYA一個月，2500~~~~3600蚊！
深圳大學個IDMT培訓比較其他專業小小，都系10000蚊半年啦！

我唔明當你們好清楚你自己D work 同人地鬼佬果D的距離的時候, 自己仲唔練好D,仲怪人地, 駛萬幾二萬蚊去認識cg 的各個主要步驟的制作過程, 若你好努力做, 在校捨的設備己經足夠你 produce 個好 Pro 的 Showreel 啦。我覺得抵 bor。

如果你好有心學, 你查字典睇個F1都講哂點做架啦,睇哂未呀你? 基本都唔識就要shortcut, 話比你聽你聽落去好似 make sense 又當自己明左, 如果自己要人幫先做到,或要跟書跟Note, 又隔一排又唔記得果D都叫領悟左、消化左牙。

宜家小學咩, 好似 polygon modelling 禁, 話清楚比你聽D tool 點用、 有咩用, 你就自己雕架啦, 仲要個TA捉住只手同你雕咩。

仲有: wai ar "CityStudent" 你用呢個名絕對對CityU D tutor 及 CityU D 同學唔公平, 真系禁容易整到怪獸公司咩?

大家講左咁多,問題都系系個人既修養同品德上.....不論任何年齡/階層.......素質唔好,果個人做既野同念既野的出發點都不太好!!

I think, whatever school or course there are, they just give U the fundamental enlightening, it's the student himself to explore his new world withthe tutor's aid, ppl nowadays expect to get 200% reward immediately after paid 50%(or less), but they didn't know the existence of time-frame at all, the duration where to polish their mind and skill, they don't have the patience and will to try. These are the common demerits of younsters nowadays, not only for CG.

I graduate the course two years ago and like the course very much. The lecturer had patient to teach me. The lecturers did not annoy when I repeatly asked many stupid question, even though after the course.

Initially I took the Tue, Thur classes but I also came on Mon, Wed classes in later stage because they could teach me so many things to explore more by myself. The lecturers and course leader never complained to me and still reply my question so. Very nice.

Many classmates also complained to Lecturers, hardwares etc but I found those classmates were the ones who never came on lab time on Sunday, late arrive and early left in the class. They were unwilling to learn and explect to be taught by Lecturer like primary school.

This is a high school that lecturers exlain the main points and you should learn by your self. You ask question and they reply to you or solve the problem. This is enough.

No plain, no gain.

I'm disappointed to the HK youngs nowadays.
