different people have different approach....
no such method as "神道"吧... and i think technology is "advancing" very fast, this day u find nurbs patch is good, tomorrow u may find polygon is better.... and now if u use edit poly in 3ds max together with turbo smooth / mesh smooth and check the isoline display option, u will find editing polygon just like editing NURBS....
