I heard india is doing pretty well on the animation outsourcing business from US and yield more than 10 billion US dollars every year.
Mostly labor intensive task ( wire remove sort of thing )that those US studios don't want to do by themselves.

May be we can work in Beijing and Shanghai and Singapore, then how about india?

The sad truth is many HKers are too timid to go out to try new career territories. They're also very ill-equipped to do so even if they had the wish (dismal command of languages other than cantonese, superficial understanding of other cultures, etc). Don't have to look as far as India -- just think how much HKers understand (I mean really understand, without prejudice) mainland China, and you'll see what I mean.

That's why so many veteran CGers here degenerate into claw-n-teeth office-politickers -- sad bastards would die holding on to a small familiar turf rather than venture out into bigger unknown worlds.
