Autodesk presents the Digital Film Event of the Year
Autodesk is proud to present Andrew Lesnie, Director of Photography for King Kong, and Grady Cofer, ILM Digital Supervisor whose credits include Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith and War of the Worlds, as they share expertise and ideas on the present and future of digital filmmaking. The advent of digital technology has revolutionized film making from editing, and visual effects to cinematography. Academy Award-winning DoP Andrew Lesnie will speak specifically to his experiences in color grading King Kong on the Autodesk Lustre system. Grady Cofer, an effects industry veteran, will showcase how complex effects shots in Star Wars: Episode III and War of the Worlds were created using ILM’s SABRE based on Autodesk’s Discreet Inferno, Flame and Burn systems.
