fresh grad, 7000 salary, good?

got a job today, for 7000 salary a month, is that good?

i graduated from animation college. either 3d and 2d.
and now got a editing job....kind of a production house...but seems not quite related to what i've learn....aii....

i think it is not relating to your uni degree or master degree.
it is relating to your showreeel, mate.
even, u are P.6, you can still get a good$$ by an excellent showreel.
but i am talking animation job.

oh yeah!!

salary is directly proportional with your years of work experience,
the more u've got, the more negotiating power you have!

and of coz, a good showreel can make a difference!

if your work is good, i think they will raise your salary very quickly in order to keep you in their company~

that's just based on my experience

hmm....i found out today that my job is called Production Assistance.... is this worth to go on? i dun feel much about doing animation here but editing......

that's like a runner.

i visited some post production houses in the UK and all the runners there are to gain experience to be future compositors / animators....its like waiting for opportunities to arise!!

so, hang on to it and I am sure better position will come up soon!

thank you lgongtsyn i feel better now.
maybe i should stay a bit longer for better change.

one bad thing is that...i dun have much time to improve my show reel as before...but i'm getting some money atleast....aii....
