I am really just starting out.

I am hoping someone can show me where I can find a tutorial to do this sort of glass ball effect along with the shadowing for the box.

I think this image is using Illustrator or Photoshop. WYSISYG & easy to handle.


p.s. the translator from English to Chinese is quite funny..... u can use English to ask questions here

You are able to use opacity mask, gradient, transparency, feather effect, drop shadow effect in Illustrator and/or Photoshop to achieve the similar effect, however, it take you a little bit time to do it.
