Term Lecturer/Teaching Associate (Multimedia and Entertainment Technology)

(For Academic Year 2009/2010)

Specialism:
Multimedia and Entertainment Technology

Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects/fieldwork;
(b) To carry out student and academic related administrative duties;
(c) To develop course curriculum and training materials;
(d) To participate in departmental projects and functions, including consultancy services, research studies, seminars, short courses and exhibitions, where necessary; and
(e) To organize extra-curricular activities.

Requirements:
(a) A recognized relevant degree in Multimedia or Creative Media or equivalent; and/or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with post-graduate qualifications;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching/industrial/commercial experience; and
(c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.

Note:
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Term Teaching Associate.
